About Us

DVN Property Services aims at providing valuation services with industry-leading integrity that create long-term relationships with our clients. We achieve this goal by providing role-players in the property market with realistic, well researched and properly motivated valuation reports.

The firm was established in 2011 and has grown from strength to strength by providing credible and well-motivated valuation reports to our principals and/or clients. Initially the firm served as an entity to conduct valuations for a very small number of clients, including previous employers, being primarily Griffiths Valuations. We soon experienced high demand for our valuations due to the excellent standards that we strictly adhere to and the company inevitably expanded to include more clients and a bigger workforce.

With a combined 78 years’ experience in performing valuations, we are well known by our peers for sticking to professional standards and being able to perform “problem valuations” competently and professionally researched.
Dirk van Niekerk: Head Valuer
Dirk van Niekerk, the founder of DVN Property Services, is a registered Professional Valuer and has actively been involved in different aspects of the property industry since 2003, both in the UK and South Africa. Dirk completed his B. Comm. (TBE) at the University of Pretoria in 2001 and his National Diploma in Real Estate with specialization in Property Valuation at UNISA in 2010, after which he completed the Fundamentals of Real Estate Appraisal at the University of British Columbia in Canada.
